We are Jade and Tab, a lesbian couple, artists, and the founders of Leftbians ♥️
We met while studying fine art at university and immediately bonded over DIY culture & creating art that actually means something!
Fast forward to 2019, with our graduation fast approaching the following year, we were brainstorming ideas of what jobs we could do. With both of us being neurodivergent, the thing that appealed the most to us was being able to work for ourselves.
We had always loved Jewellery and accessories as a way to express ourselves but often found that we could not find the jewellery we actually wanted to wear, as our personal styles have never fit neatly into one box, so we decided to make it ourselves and Leftbians was born.
It wasn't until March 2020 when Leftbians really started looking like a viable job and it could not have come at a better time, having just graduated University with no Jobs available because of the pandemic, it helped us not only have an income but also gave us the time and space to really put our all into this and that is exactly what we did!
At Leftbians, you’ll find everything from camp and c*nt to grunge and punk, with almost every piece made to order at our home studio in Warwickshire, Uk, with so many options to personalise your items!
More than 26,000 orders later across our Website and Etsy combined, we’re still experimenting, making, and creating pieces we genuinely love and we hope you love them as much as we do ♥️
