This engraved watermelon necklace is designed and made by Leftbians as part of our ongoing fundraising support for Mohanad and his family in Gaza. All profits from this necklace go directly towards their fundraising campaign, which Jade from Leftbians set up and continues to run.
The watermelon has become a widely recognised symbol of Palestinian identity and resistance, particularly because of its connection to the colours of the Palestinian flag. We chose this design as a way to create a wearable piece that reflects the significance of the symbol while directly supporting Mohanad and his family.
This engraved pendant and necklace are made from 100% mirror-polished 304 stainless steel. The gold-coloured version has a 14k gold ion-plated finish, making it bright, highly durable and corrosion resistant, as well as waterproof and tarnish resistant.
