Watermelon neck lace Palestine fundraiser

All profits from this necklace go to Mohanad and his family who live in Gaza, since July 2025 we have been supporting them via different fundraisers to help raise money for their chuffed campaign, which Jade from Leftbians set up and runs for them.

This necklace design is designed and engraved by us, we chose a watermelon due to the significance that it holds in the fight for Palestinian liberation.

To quote the article 'symbols of Palestine' by Al Jazeera;

"Following the 1967 war, when Israel seized control of the West Bank and Gaza Strip and annexed East Jerusalem, the government banned the Palestinian flag in the occupied territory.

Although the flag has not always been banned by law, the watermelon caught on as a symbol of resistance. It appears in art, shirts, graffiti, posters and the ubiquitous watermelon emoji on social media."
